Capture108Inspector of Police Mohammed Abubakar has been directed to proceed on a terminal leave with immediate effect.

On Monday,  Secretary to the Government, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, forwarded the directive signed by President Goodluck Jonathan over the outgoing I.G . Deputy Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Fakai who heads the Finance & Administration of the force has been directed to take over in acting capacity.

Abubakar who’s tenure was to end on July 30th this year got a shocker from the Presidency when his request for an extension was denied.  Its hard to place a finger on what led to his humiliating exit but we wish him well in his future endeavors.
